Topamax is an anticonvulsant approved for use in treating epilepsy and migraine headaches in children and adults. It is also frequently prescribed off-label for nervous disorder.
Directions
Topamax can be taken with or without food during one month, washed down with a glass of water.Take it exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not take in larger or smaller amounts or for longer than recommended.
Precautions
Before taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you are allergic to it or if you have any other allergies or glaucoma, heart diseese, kidney or liver problems.Being treated with this drug you can't smoke and drink alcohol.During pregnancy, this medication should be used only as it was prescribed.

Drug interactions
Tell your doctor about all other medicines you use,as Topiramate can cooperate with: * hormones for birth control, including implants or injections * carbamazepine * digoxin * medications for pain, sleep, or muscle relaxation * methazolamide * valproic acid
Missed dose
Take the missed dose as soon as you possible. Skip the missed dose if it is almost time for your next scheduled dose. Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose.
Overdose
Overdose symptoms may include dizziness, blurred vision, problems with speech, chest pain, fast or pounding heartbeats, feeling light-headed and convulsions.Seek emergency at once if you have an overdose.
Storage
Room temperature between 68-77 F (20-25 C). Store away from moisture and light. Keep it out of the reach of children and away from pets.
