Dostinex is in a group of drugs called dopamine receptor antagonists. It works by reducing the amount of prolactin that is released from the pituitary gland. It is used to treat a hormone imbalance in which there is too much prolactin in the blood, also called hyperprolactinemia.
Directions
Take this medication exactly as it was prescribed for you. It is usually taken twice each week for at least 6 months. Do not take this medication every day unless your doctor tells you to.
Precautions
Do not use this medication if you are allergic to the drug or if you have hypertension, liver illness, giddiness or pregnant. Don't drink alcohol.
Contraindications
Before using Dostinex, tell your doctor if you are allergic or have high blood pressure or heart problems.

Store your medicines at room temperature between between 15-30 C (59-86 F). Store away from moisture and light. Keep it out of the reach of children and away from pets.
